Description of 1 Wood Crescent

1 Wood Crescent is new Grade A office development on the west side of the Television Centre campus in London W12.

The 10-storey building, which will include a basement and a mezzanine level, comprises of 13,000m2 of CAT A fit-out offices, 500m2 of retail space and 2,900m2 of plant and front-of-house spaces.

Amenities include terraces, a ground floor reception and a café, all with views over Hammersmith Park and the surrounding White City area and beyond.

PVH Corp will move to the top five floors of 1 Wood Crescent, totalling 50,000 sq ft of office space.

Also known as Plot D. Plot D is the fourth and final one in Phase 1 of the redevelopment of the site that was home to the BBC for more than 50 years.

Stanhope and Laing O’Rourke have signed a £60M contract to deliver One Wood Crescent on plot D of the former BBC Television Centre.

Tony Wall, Construction Director at Stanhope, commented: “We are delighted to have Laing O’Rourke as our delivery partner for the One Wood Crescent project at Television Centre. Their innovation and expertise in modern methods of construction (MMC), using products manufactured in their UK factories, brings surety to the project’s delivery and will play a key part in meeting the 2023 completion date.”

PVH Corp., the parent company to brands including Calvin Klein and TOMMY HILFIGER, will be relocating their UK headquarters to 1 Wood Crescent at the Television Centre development.

PVH Corp will move to the top five floors of the 9-storey building designed by architects Morris + Company, totalling 50,000 sq ft of office space.

Laing O'Rourke will start the construction of the 111,765 sq ft office building immediately and is expecting to complete it in Q1 2023.
