- Approximately 655m2 of retail space;
- Car parking on the basement level.

- Demolition - 4 months
- Basement/Piling - 5 months
- Superstructure - 7 months
- Internal finishes - 11 months
- Completion - Q2 2017 (21 months expected duration)

Almacantar has received planning permission for a new mixed housing and shopping scheme at 466-490 Edgware Road, including a substantial affordable housing component.

The development will include 76 townhouses and apartments of which 47 will be affordable housing. The scheme will also see the reinstatement of the disused petrol filling station – marking the first new petrol station in London for over 10 years.

Hersel commented: “Our scheme at 466 to 490 Edgware Road will reinstate a retail frontage, absent since the 19th Century. We are also delivering much needed affordable housing in Westminster, including units aimed specifically at meeting the needs of families.”
