Space House
Key Details
Overview
Space House refurbishment of the Grade II listed building at One Kemble Street and 43-59 Kingsway in Holborn, London WC2.
Space House is a landmark building comprising two interconnected blocks and is well known for its innovative architecture and façade, with a striking grid-like façade made of pre-cast concrete.
In November 2019, Seaforth Land obtained planning permission and listed building consent to sensitively refurbish the building.
The building was originally completed in 1968 as offices to the designs of Richard Seifert & Partners. It was first occupied in 1975 by the Civil Aviation Authority CAA after being empty for the first seven years.
