Overview
Harrow One is a residential development from Hill and Origin Housing in Harrow, London HA1. Completed in 2020 and sold out in 2021.
The two buildings offer a range of new homes along with community facilities, flexible retail space and a new walkway between Sheepcote Road and St John’s Road.
This is a redevelopment of the former Cumberland Hotel and Victoria Hall, supported by Greater London Authority (GLA) funding.
Apartments
The new development included 123 studio, one and two-bedroom apartments for private sale, together with 81 affordable homes – including Shared Ownership and Affordable Rent tenures.
Amenities
The development includes landscaped communal spaces along with children play spaces, cycle stores and a basement car park.
Affordable Homes
The affordable homes were situated on the left-hand side of The Moore Apartments building fronting Sheepcote Lane.
Buildings
There are two buildings in this development:
- The Moore Apartments - includes affordable and private homes on Sheepcote Lane.
- The Byron Court - private homes with an entrance on St John's Road.
New Community Centre
As part of the work on site, a new community centre will be built to replace Victoria Hall, offering modern and flexible retail facilities which will be spread across three new halls on a single level and in an external plaza.
