London Square is preparing to launch The Terrace Collection at London Square Putney in June – a limited edition selection of premium apartments designed by internationally acclaimed architects Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, following the success of the penthouses by the same architect at London Square Leonard Street in Shoreditch.

Arranged over the 9th, 10th and 11th floors of its iconic new 11 storey Upper Richmond Road development, the two and three bedroom elite apartments will feature large terraces with dual-aspect panoramic views of the London skyline from Battersea Power Station to the London Eye, The Shard, Canary Wharf and beyond. At London Square Leonard Street three show-stopping penthouses were arranged over the seventh and eight floors of the building, with views of the City and Canary Wharf.

Both Collections have interiors designed by award-winning Honky interior design consultancy, offering buyers the ultimate in impressive, open-plan luxury living and chic penthouse style.

Paul Dawson, designer at Honky Interior Design, who has worked on both of the London Square Collections, comments: “With two very different target markets, but with the brief to deliver the ultimate in luxurious apartment living key, we have taken the most successful aspects from London Square Leonard Street, and applied them to The Terrace Collection at London Square Putney. We have followed the American trend of eliminating the hallway entirely from design plans at London Square Putney. Rich copper wallcoverings have been chosen to complement the light colour palette at London Square Putney, rather than slate grey used at London Square Leonard Street, to maximise the light and 360 degree views. Meanwhile, the same feature bathroom with a stand-alone bath as focal point, follows from London Square Leonard Street – this time with a spectacular glass wall on two sides.”

With over-sized terraces the stand-out feature in both Collections, London Square has created a seamless link to the outdoors at London Square Putney with doors that open out for al fresco entertaining. Meanwhile, spacious open plan kitchens, living and dining rooms and en suite bedrooms, follow in style from London Square Leonard Street. Ultra-high specification features include gloss finish Siematic kitchens and Miele appliances, comfort cooling, underfloor heating, a multi room audio system, sleek sanitaryware, Hansgrohe brassware and Corian stone in the bathrooms.

Jean Cooper, who bought one of the penthouses at London Square Leonard Street in 2013, comments: “Before I bought at Leonard Street, I lived in a fourth floor penthouse so I was looking for another roof top home to enjoy the unique, city views I was used to. As soon as I looked at the development, I knew I wanted to live here. I have panoramic views of the City buildings and emerging Old Street cityscape, and further off towards the Shard, Canary Wharf and BT Tower. My penthouse has a fantastic terrace, which runs along the whole of one side, with floor length windows flooding the hall and living area with light. There’s another smaller terrace too, on the opposite side of the building, so I can choose where to sit out. Last autumn I found a garden designer, who is creating a roof garden on the terrace for me; I can’t wait to see how it looks when the plants come up this summer and as it matures.”

Rebecca Littler, Sales and Marketing Director of London Square, said: “The Penthouse Collection was the jewel in the crown of our Leonard Street scheme and caused a real stir, so we can’t wait to unveil our latest premium range of apartments at London Square Putney. We have taken the most successful features from London Square Leonard Street and evolved them in style to make these fantastic properties showcase the latest trends in luxury living.”

Residents of The Terrace Collection will also be able to benefit from the south-facing private garden and communal roof gardens at London Square Putney. Additionally, other facilities include a 24-hour concierge service, CCTV surveillance systems, as well as a new public plaza.

London Square Putney is perfectly positioned between mainline and underground stations with services into central London only a couple of minutes’ walk away. The distinctive modernist development is set to be a prominent feature on this bustling stretch of Upper Richmond Road, with an imposing warehouse-style entrance, and large reception area that features a contemporary concrete staircase and glazed green brick feature wall.

Prices are expected to range from £1.25million - £2million in The Terrace Collection. To arrange an appointment, please visit www.londonsquare.co.uk.
