Fairview New Homes has revealed a new development Thirty2 in Hampstead, London NW3.

The new scheme will bring 72 new homes and investment of more than £860,000 to the local area.

Fairview New Homes will transform the site at 32 Lawn Road to create a development of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments.

The Enfield-based developer bought the site for development from Camden Council, who had deemed it surplus to requirements, in March last year. Planning permission for the apartments to be built was granted in April this year.

As part of the development, Fairview will make contributions totalling £867,404 to benefit the local area through a Section 106 planning agreement for the site.

Jim Holliday, Sales and Marketing Director for Fairview, said: “We are delighted to be building our development of quality new apartments in Lawn Road. The development, which will be named Thirty2, will offer comfortable, modern living in an excellent location.

“Our designs for Thirty2 have been carefully and thoughtfully put together in order to create an attractive, impressive building which responds to the context of the local area.

“We are always keen to support the communities in the areas where we build new homes, and as part of this development, we will contribute £860,000 through a Section 106 agreement.

“We look forward to getting work started on site and unveiling details of the new homes to buyers in due course.”

The Section 106 contributions which Fairview will make will include a payment of £340,000 for highways improvements.

A sum of £131,320 will go towards community facilities, while £125,184 will be spent on funding education locally. A further £91,840 will fund healthcare provision, £96,908 will go towards public open space and a further £76,250 contribution will go towards employment and training.

There are currently two buildings on the development site at Lawn Road – a former car park, which most recently housed several commercial units and undercroft parking, and a former laundrette, which was most recently used as a community centre. Both buildings are set to be demolished.

Many of those who took part in consultation during the planning process said they were keen to see the existing buildings removed and replaced.

As one of Fairview’s Prestige developments, Thirty2 will offer apartments with an impressive, high-quality specification.
