St Edward has launched the tallest residential tower in Kensington for 30 years.

Towering nearly 60 metres and 17 storeys, Edward House at 375 Kensington High Street has only been surpassed by the 1970s Brutalist Trellick Tower, making it Kensington's tallest residential building to be erected for more than quarter of a century. Edward House also surpasses its neighbour at the scheme, Benson House by more than 15 metres.

Edward House is one of the final buildings of St Edward's 375 Kensington High Street to be brought to market and presents buyers with a new selection of 11 homes, all of which are generous in space and proportion.

Homes range in size from 1,312 sq.ft to 2,649 sq.ft and come in a mix of types, including a collection of two bedroom apartments, four bedroom duplexes and one, four bedroom decadent duplex penthouse on the two top floors.

Designed to be spacious with a touch of grandeur and elegance typically associated with its location, each of the large two and four bedroom duplexes occupy either one or two entire floors of the tower giving residents a unique offering of space, height and multi-floor living in one of the Capital's most prestigious boroughs.

The towering height of Edward House ensures residents can enjoy unrivalled views of west London and beyond. 360 views of the horizon capture some of London's most iconic landmarks, including, Royal Albert Hall, BT Tower and Battersea Power Station.

Architecturally impressive inside and out, the façade is made of superior limestone blending into the local streetscape and enhancing the Kensington skyline. Interiors are opulently finished and feature individually designed kitchens, with fully integrated Kuppersbusch appliances and composite stone work surfaces. Bathrooms are unique with bespoke veneer and stone vanity units, soft lighting and feature marble and limestone tiling throughout.

Paul Vallone, Executive Chairman, St Edward said: "Edward House is an exciting addition to the Kensington skyline. As Kensington's tallest building of its kind for 30 years, it will become a real landmark for the area.

"Edward House gives buyers something unique in comparison to other homes at 375 Kensington High Street, whilst retaining some of the special features that have made the scheme one of London's most sought after new developments. Its height, lavish space and sense of proportion created by the duplexes and high ceilings, really makes Edward House stand out from anything else on the market in Kensington."

The launch of Edward House marks a pivotal milestone in the development of 375 Kensington High Street which has set superior standards for new homes in the area.

Located in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, 375 Kensington High Street is a key part of the Warwick Road Masterplan - a comprehensive regeneration plan by the Royal Borough and St Edward to transform this part of the High Street into a flourishing new community.

The development, along with its neighbour Kensington Row, is replacing a series of unsightly commercial buildings to provide much needed new homes, a new school for the borough and a public linear park spanning the length of 320 metres, more than three times the length of a typical football pitch.

Residents at 375 Kensington High Street have an excellent range of leisure facilities on their doorstep, including a swimming pool, vitality pool, exclusive treatment rooms and private cinema. Residents also have access to a state-of-the-art gymnasium, fitted with the latest equipment.

The wider Kensington area offers local residents a range of famous cultural attractions including Kensington Palace, the Royal Albert Hall and the Victoria and Albert Museum. The neighbourhood is renowned for its Royal Parks and Michelin star restaurants, while famous former residents, including Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and Beatrix Potter have helped Kensington earn its reputation for culture and art.

Whilst many shopping and cultural destinations are close by, the development also boasts excellent transport links, with High Street Kensington underground station a short walk away. From here residents have easy access to the city and can reach Knightsbridge and Bond Street in just 15 minutes. The duplex also has double allocated parking for residents.

375 Kensington High Street will comprise more than 500 homes across 3.4 acres when it completes in 2016.

Prices at Edward House start from: £2,500,000 whilst remaining apartments in neighbouring Benson House start from £1,075,000.
