Ultra-Prime estate agent Beauchamp Estates has appointed highly-respected Mayfair and Super-Prime specialist Charles Lloyd as the new Head of Sales in Mayfair, based at the agency’s office at 24 Curzon Street.

Charles will also lead ultra-prime property sales in key areas including Mayfair, St James’s, Kensington & Chelsea, and surrounding prime central London neighbourhoods, leading on advising Beauchamp Estates’ global network of Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients on sales and acquisitions.

Charles Lloyd's appointment as Head of Sales signifies a noteworthy homecoming to Beauchamp Estates, where he previously excelled as a Senior Negotiator in the luxury London homes sector from 1992 to 2006.

Lloyd returns to the company after a tenure at CBRE, where he co-founded their CBRE Private Office in 2020. This role primarily involved assisting ultra-high-net-worth private clients with the sale and acquisition of super-prime properties in Prime Central London and the Home Counties. He also managed confidential off-market transactions of prestigious homes for clients.

Charles has been involved in residential property for 35 years, over which he has forged a stellar career as one of the Capital’s best-known agents, earning himself the epithet “Mr Mayfair” and being namechecked in the wealth management bible Spear’s 500. He has also held the record for the most expensive house ever sold on Upper Brook Street in Mayfair, in May 2015, for £90m, at £4,700 per sq. ft. 

Charles’ passion for property began early when he left school in the mid-1980s to start an apprenticeship with an estate agency dealing with both town and country properties.

He moved to London in 1991, where he worked for independent agent John Wilcox & Co covering Holland Park, Notting Hill and Kensington, and moved to Savills in 2006, opening their Mayfair branch in 2010 and their Marylebone office in 2013.

Bringing with him an inimitable little black book of contacts, Charles Lloyd will be working closely with Gary Hersham, Founding Director of Beauchamp Estates, and Jeremy Gee, Managing Director, alongside a hand-picked team which includes Paul Finch, Yahya Swallem, Vlad Viaryshka and Sarah Heracleous.
