Description
British Land and Blackstone, the owners of Broadgate, have recently submitted a planning application to the City Corporation, which details their proposals for the development of 5 Broadgate. This entails the demolition of 4 and 6 Broadgate and the creation of a new building to be occupied by UBS. In addition to this, an addendum to the 5 Broadgate planning application has been submitted to retain 3 Broadgate, and further applications have been submitted to deliver the enhanced public realm and landscaping proposed in Sun Street Passage leading to Primrose Street, and for the introduction of retail space in the new Sun Street Square.
This website is designed to provide information on these exciting proposals, and to provide an opportunity for feedback. For information about the planning applications please refer to the summary pdf within ‘Downloads’. You are also able to view computer generated images (CGI’s) and email your comments.
British Land and Blackstone see the development of
5 Broadgate as an important and positive milestone for Broadgate, and for the City as a whole. Therefore we look forward to hearing your thoughts and thank you in advance for your time in viewing these proposals.
