The building work at Anthology Hoxton Press has now commenced.

David Newey, Project Director for Anthology Hoxton Press commented: “Hoxton is cemented as a key London destination for buyers, renters and tourists alike. Our Hoxton Press development will sit comfortably in the heart of Hackney, with all local travel connections just a stone’s throw away. The community has its own identity, with markets, shops and design studios – these are just some of the unique attributes that have really enabled Hoxton to become such a desirable location. This is, of course, without mentioning the fact the development is walkable distance from the beautiful open space of Shoreditch Park.”

Philip Glanville, Mayor of Hackney, said: “This latest phase of our ambitious regeneration programme is a fantastic development between Regent’s Canal, Hoxton and Shoreditch, with money from these sales reinvested into providing hundreds of new high-quality, modern council homes for local people.

“These designs are the product of years of close consultation with local people and award-winning architects. I’m proud that despite receiving no government funding, developments like this mean we’re on site delivering more social housing than anywhere else in London – giving more families a truly affordable place to live or the opportunity to get a foot on the housing ladder.”

David Newey continued: “Hackney has developed immensely over recent years and now plays host to some impressive start-ups, as well as innovative arts and entertainments businesses. We are proud to be contributing to this thriving community and offering new homes that fit perfectly within the vibrant setting of Hackney.”

Mark Dickinson, Managing Director at Anthology said: “Our development in Hoxton is a project of particular importance to us being our second launched project following our recent opening of Deptford Foundry and we are very excited to be working with Hackney Council on the third phase of this impressive regeneration project.

“Hoxton Press is the exciting next step in our journey to build across the capital, with a key focus to expand in zones, two, three and four.”

Mark Tant, Managing Director Wates Construction London Private Residential said: "Anthology’s aspirations for Hoxton Press are to create a premium residential development that complements the ongoing regeneration at the Colville Estate, ambitions that Wates has long-standing proficiency in fulfilling."
