Urban Tea Rooms will open a new flagship site at St James’s Market, reports Crown Estate.

It will bring its modern take on the traditional English tea room with smart all-day café dining, having firmly established itself as a favourite among local offices and shoppers in the West End. London coffee ‘Allpress’ and loose-leaf teas will be served to take-away or eat in, alongside the best in organic, British produce; including freshly-made salads, soups, sandwiches, handmade cakes and artisanal baking.

Urban Tea Rooms is the latest operator to join St James’s Market, which will have seven new restaurants in total.

Anthea Harries, on behalf of the St James’s Market Partnership commnted: “We’re thrilled to welcome Urban Tea Rooms to St James’s Market. Their blend of high quality teas and coffee with the best in British and organic produce will perfectly complement the mix of bespoke eateries at St James’s Market, with something for everyone and all occasions in this new culinary destination.”
