Aspinal of London, the British luxury leather goods brand, will open its flagship store at St James’s Market redevelopment later this year.

The ‘Home of Aspinal’ will be the brand’s largest store to date.

The new store will showcase Aspinal of London’s full collection of premium quality hand-crafted leather goods with a distinctly British style, and host its new launches and exclusive collaborations.

The store will be divided into rooms highlighting the ‘lifestyle journey’ of the Aspinal customer and offer the complete range of men’s and women’s products; including handbags, wallets and purses, business bags, office accessories and luggage.
Aspinal of London joins other leading lifestyle and retail brands at St James’s Market, including a bespoke emporium from British brand Jigsaw; the first UK stores for Paul and Shark Swiss cycling brand ASSOS; and a unique concept store from lifestyle brand Smeg.

St James’s Market has also welcomed seven new restaurants offering the best in international dining, including the Nordic Aquavit, Ole and Steen’s Danish bakery, Salt Yard’s Veneta, Urban Tea Rooms and the Japanese Anzu, alongside 210,000 sq ft of office accommodation, all set within over half an acre of revitalised public spaces with a new public square.
With Aspinal’s arrival, and all seven restaurants now let or under offer, St James’s Market has only one retail unit still available.

The popularity of St James’s Market reflects the success of its redevelopment, combining the heritage of the area with the needs of modern occupiers to make it one of the most prestigious fashion, lifestyle and business addresses in London.

Anthea Harries, on behalf of the St James’s Market Partnership, commented: “We are delighted that Aspinal of London, a British brand renowned globally for its quality and craftsmanship, has chosen St James’s Market for its flagship store. It perfectly complements the mix of world-class brands and restaurants that have already made St James’s Market their home to create a new lifestyle and retail destination in this distinctive part of London.”

Sarah Rotherham, CEO at Aspinal of London added: “We are delighted to be opening our Flagship store in such a notable building as St James Market. The iconic architecture and back drop of Regent Street St James’s is in perfect synergy with Aspinal, as a Heritage British brand, and we look forward to welcoming many new customers into the store.”
