The last phase of Packington’s regeneration is now underway, reports Rydon.
On Wednesday 22 March the demolition machines began to take down the last remaining blocks of flats. These were the only original part of Packington Estate left standing after the project has continued to deliver new homes and facilities for the local community.
Rydon has also entered into contract for Phases 5 & 6, which when complete will conclude the delivery of nearly 800 new homes for social rent and private sale, a range of new community facilities and public open space in Islington.
