St George is launching Emery Wharf at London Dock this Saturday and Sunday 13th and 14th May 2017, with a selection of Manhattan suites, one bedroom Manhattan and one, two and three bedroom apartments available from £539,950.

The first phase of London Dock was completed in December 2016, with residents moving into their new homes in Clipper Wharf and the first of 6.5 acres of public space opened. This included the unveiling of Trading Words; a public art installation inspired by the historic lists of goods imported and exported via London over the past 400 years. Once complete, Trading Words will span the full length of the development and contain over 1,000 words.

Emery Wharf was named after one of the goods imported and is the latest release of new homes at London Dock.

Designed by renowned architects Patel Taylor, it is located in a prime position at the entrance to the development and features a striking brick facade.

Inspired by the area's distinctive architecture and trading heritage, Emery Wharf showcases a unique new mid-century modern specification; open plan kitchens finished with integrated black appliances, and bathrooms with black framed bath and shower screens, referencing the site's historic use as a mercantile centre.

Comprising one bedroom Manhattan, one, two and three bedroom apartments, Emery Wharf includes a new addition to London Dock - the Manhattan suite; efficiently designed to combine open plan living and bedroom spaces, with a fully fitted kitchen, shower room and ample storage space.

Residents will benefit from exclusive access to a private entrance courtyard, as well as two private roof gardens, offering outdoor spaces for relaxing or entertaining against a backdrop of spectacular views towards the City.

Residents will also have exclusive access to facilities including a wifi enabled lounge, state-of-the-art gymnasium and swimming pool, complete with sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi, a squash court, private screening room, virtual golf suite and 24-hour concierge.

Marcus Blake, Managing Director, St George City said: "Designed to reflect the heritage of the docks in both architecture and interior design, Emery Wharf combines new and old, capturing the history of the site and combining it with leading design from Patel Taylor."

"This latest phase of London Dock will offer a range of new homes at a range of prices to suit a variety of buyers, with two fantastic private roof gardens, ideally located just a short distance from the City."

Andrew Taylor, Director, Patel Taylor added:
"Emery Wharf is the latest addition to the collection of unique buildings at London Dock. Taking inspiration from the historic Pennington Street Warehouse, this prominent new brick building confidently establishes new street edges and spaces of arrival through a considered form of recognisable and timeless materials."

Situated in a prime location within a short walk of zone 1 transport connections from Tower Hill and Aldgate, residents of London Dock are well-positioned to benefit from swift access across the whole of London. Crossrail will also serve nearby Whitechapel.

Six acres of new public space is being created across London Dock, including landscaped promenades, water gardens and Gauging Square, a grand piazza animated by a choreographed water feature.

At the heart of London Dock is the Grade-II listed Pennington Street Warehouse which once stored many high-value goods imported into the docks. It will be the commercial centre of the development, brought to life with an eclectic mix of shops, restaurants and offices.

The London Dock Marketing Suite is located on Vaughan Way and is open every day.
