The new music venue and event space Exhibition London in White City is scheduled to open in November 2019.

Set in the newly refurbished Grade II listed Dimco East building, it will host high-profile live music events, brand experiences, product launches, exhibitions, conferences, award ceremonies and community events.

“Barbican meets the Roundhouse is the best way to describe our latest venue,” said Creative Director of Exhibition London, Simeon Aldred. “We will have gigs headlined by top artists, classical music, jazz, gospel and lots more.

“Things are now going west. White City is an exciting new destination emerging in London which includes the Troubadour White City Theatre which is due to open shortly down the road.

We would like to give young people the opportunity to get involved in the arts with us. It could be showing them how a show is put together, setting up a stage, lighting to artist liaison. We’re also looking to take on paid interns and apprenticeships from the local community.”

Michel Dessolain, COO Europe for Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, added: “Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield creates unique and innovative destinations globally where our customers can shop, dine, be entertained and connect. Our partnership with Broadwick Venues, one of the biggest players in the events industry in the UK, and through the support of H&F Council, will deliver an amazing new entertainment experience and will be a leading new events venue in London.”

Spanning two floors, the 34,000 sqft events and hospitality space will reach a total standing capacity of 3,000 people.

The venue is operated by Broadwick Venues.
