Westminster Council has agreed to grant planning consent for the Nightingale House development.

A retail arcade will restore a historic pedestrian link between Stratton Street and Curzon Street. The move will make Stratton Street one of the busiest in Mayfair as the new link is the most direct route between Green Park Underground Station to the south and Bond Street Crossrail to the north.

Fred Pilbrow of Pilbrow & Partners commented: “We are delighted by Westminster’s strong support for our vision to facilitate movement between Bond Street and Green Park Stations – the two principal entrance points to Mayfair. Our public realm proposals have, we believe, strong synergies with neighbouring initiatives including Grosvenor’s enhancements to Berkeley Square and the Mayfair Neighbourhood Plan for the Tyburn Opportunity Frontage”.

The development comprises retail and restaurant space and 42 residential apartments with spectacular views over Green Park and Berkeley Square Above.
