Caudwell has appointed EDM London to build the façade of its Audley Square development.

New York-based architect Robert AM Stern's first commission in the UK took inspiration for the façade from Mayfair's heritage. The Portland Stone frontage features balustrades, ornamental fretwork and curved balconies.

EDM London's contract comprises the construction of the building façade and external envelope including the handset Portland stone elements, stone faced precast balconies, soffits and granite plinth stonework.

Careys are currently working on the substructure and superstructure of the development. The piling work is expected to conclude in May.

The development is expected to complete in late 2025.
