Newfoundland has completed and is welcoming its first residents.

The building, designed by Horden Cherry Lee is the tallest Build-to-Rent (BtR) scheme in the UK.

The 58-storey Newfoundland offers 636 apartments for rent ranging in size from studios to 3-bedrooms.

Interiors have been designed by Johnson Naylor, show apartments dressed by Angel O’Donnell and furnishing by David Phillips.

The Vertus amenity spaces at Newfoundland span 13,000 sq ft and include residents’ lounge area which features automatic wine dispensers, coffee machines and games such as shuffleboard. There is a private rentable dining room, fitness studios offering virtual classes and a good size gym.

Residents can enjoy a terrace garden that looks out across the River Thames and includes a separate children’s play area and games room which has been dressed by Angel O’Donnell.

At the end of 2021, an award-winning M Restaurant will open its first restaurant in Canary Wharf, on the first floor of Newfoundland.
