Westminster Council has approved plans to use of part ground, part lower ground and part basement as an art gallery (Class F1).

The Lume London will replace the previously planned use as a cinema at part ground and two basement levels. The space was marketed to find an alternative operator after The Odeon withdrew their interest to occupy the site. The cinema industry has been suffering from significant structural changes and there is no demand for this type of space with substantial competition from other similar venues in the area.
