Islington Square is nearly sold out, with over £125m of properties sold since May 2020 despite lockdown restrictions and market challenges.

Beauchamp Estates reveals that of the 169 private sale apartments, just a handful remain available, with the final exclusive ‘Zen Collection’ of eight homes due to be released in autumn 2021.

80 properties have sold despite the restrictions, with 25 of these in the last six months as the final homes have been released. The sold homes included the luxury penthouse collection, maisonettes, and a mixture of studio suites, 1-, 2-and 3-bedroom apartments with private balconies.

The penthouse collection sold out earlier this year achieving in excess of £2,200 per sq. ft., with the average property sold in the last year achieving £1,450 per sq. ft.

The main attraction for the buyers has been the lifestyle amenities and new vibrant community, with many luxe retail, restaurants, cafes, bars and leisure amenities on the doorstep.

Islington Square is the mixed-use development that has transformed the historic Edwardian former Royal Mail sorting office located just behind Upper Street. It offers a vibrant new district of Islington, with boutique shops, restaurants and leisure amenities forming 170,000 sq. ft. of commercial space, alongside 263 new homes and 108 serviced apartments.
