New occupier

Endurance Land has let the first floor of The Bailey to Willmott Dixon Interiors.

The Grade II listed building, which has a BREEAM Excellent rating, a Wired Score Platinum rating and an EPC of A, is owned by the Nan Fung Group and was developed by Endurance Land following the formation of their strategic partnership in late 2018.

Willmott Dixon Interiors has taken a 10-year lease and will occupy the building in Q4 2022 after they complete the fit-out.

They will join the multinational media agency, IPG Mediabrands, at the building. Mediabrands pre-let the Lower Ground and 2nd to 8th floors of the scheme.

The lease contains a number of ‘green lease’ clauses and in addition, both parties have signed a memorandum of understanding with the aim of further improving sustainability, reducing carbon emissions and improving building performance.

Henry MacInnes, director, Endurance Land commented: “We are delighted to welcome Willmott Dixon to The Bailey and look forward to building an excellent partnership with them. We are particularly pleased to have signed a tenant who shares our goal of continuous sustainability improvements.”

Kevin Potts, Commercial Director, Willmott Dixon Interiors, added: “We have been located nearby on Farringdon Street for twenty years, so taking office space at The Bailey represents an exciting new chapter for Willmott Dixon Interiors as we plan our next stage of growth. With our focus on net zero, we are particularly delighted with the ‘green lease’ commitments which underline our commitment to be a leader for sustainable development in the built environment.”
