Generali Real Estate, with assistance from BNP Paribas Real Estate, have achieved BREEAM In-use Part 1 (Version 6) ‘Excellent’ rating for One Fen Court.

This is the 4th office building in London to achieve this rating operationally.

The BREEAM-In-Use rating was secured by BNP Paribas Real Estate’s property management team in partnership with landlord Generali Real Estate and tenant M&G at the Fenchurch Avenue (EC3) building.

M&G fully supported the accreditation and assisted with the sharing of required BREEAM data. The BREEAM-In-Use rating achieved follows other ‘Excellent’ accreditations secured for the One Fen Court building including for BREEAM Construction (whole building) in 2018 and BREEAM Fit Out (M&G Limited levels 3-13) in 2021.

Ned Salisbury, Head of London Asset Management at Generali Real Estate said: “Delivering a market-leading portfolio of sustainable assets supported by best practice asset and property management is integral to our business. Achieving this rating is an accolade to the continued commitment and effort we take to future proof our assets for generations to come.”

Lynne Brown, Head of International Property Management Clients UK at BNP Paribas Real Estate commented: “Our team strives to support our clients to operate resilient and sustainable assets. Securing this landmark rating operationally at a time when the accreditation is in its infancy across the London market it testament to our market standing and the service offer we provide.”
