Galliard Homes has launched a new three-bedroom show apartment designed by Honky Interior Architecture and Design at TCRW SOHO, a landmark residential-led development on Oxford Street.

Honky, an award-winning multi-disciplinary design firm specialising in interior and architectural design, drew inspiration from the development's architecture and the Bauhaus movement to create an elegant, contemporary show home with 966 square feet of living space.

Designed by Hawkins/Brown, the two buildings at TCRW SOHO comprise 81 studio, one, two and three apartments and 11 one-, two- and three-bedroom penthouses. Both buildings will have their own entrance and hotel-style reception foyer, while residents will be presented with an exceptional concierge service.

Curvature is a key feature of the interior architecture of the second-floor show apartment and the development as a whole, with curved recessed ceilings in the living area and the master and second bedroom. Honky took inspiration from this feature as well as the Bauhaus style.

The living room ceiling draws attention to the centre of the room and the cream L-shaped boucle sofa which sits in front of the curved dining table and features curved orange dining chairs.

The inspiration flows through the apartment from the entrance, with a large geometric artwork hanging on the wall guiding buyers down towards the open plan living/kitchen space which is entered past an imperfect oval-shaped mirror and curved wall-mounted shelving unit, smoothing the straight wall edges.

The open plan kitchen/living, and dining area offers dual-aspect floor-to-ceiling windows, which open out onto a balcony in one corner, where residents can sit outdoors and soak up the buzz of the city. The variety in living space zones provides excellent room for living and entertaining.

The kitchen comes with integrated Miele appliances in Veneer kitchen cabinets with Quartz stone worktops and curved edge sinks, along with a sleek breakfast bar with bespoke curved bar stools in a geometric print.

The main bedroom has a colour scheme of pinks, greens and whites, with a bespoke feature headboard that spans the height of the room and incorporates rose-coloured fabric panelling with gold metal framing.

The second bedroom comes with a colour scheme of blues, yellows and black and also features a bespoke headboard with navy fabric panelling and gold metal framing.

The third bedroom focuses on patterns, with a Bauhaus-inspired geometric feature wall in pale blue and pink colours and houses a desk, perfect for home working when residents want to be separated from the main living space of the apartment. There are floor-to-ceiling windows in each bedroom which open onto Juliet balconies affording the rooms plenty of natural light in the daytime.

The design concept and specification for TCRW SOHO was done by Nicola Fontanella of Argent Design who has created some of the world’s most exclusive homes in London, Miami, Monaco and New York for clients including A-listers Madonna, Guy Ritchie and Naomi Campbell.

All the apartments have a stylish reception room with full height glazing, feature coffered ceilings, a bespoke entertainment unit with a large screen smart TV and statement flooring provided by natural Oak one strip hardwood engineered timber. The fully fitted designer kitchens have Veneer kitchen cabinets with Quartz stone worktops and Miele integrated appliances. The bedrooms have bespoke fitted wardrobes and rich, soft tone bedroom carpets, with large format porcelain marble tiled bathrooms with underfloor warming.

Martina Fierro, Interior Designer at Honky commented: “Our brief for the show apartment at TCRW SOHO was to create a space which combines and encapsulates the everyday buzz and glamour of Central London with the feeling of comfort that one desires when returning home after a busy day in the city. The Bauhaus interior design style, with its rounder edged shapes provides a softer environment for buyers to walk into whilst the geometric patterns, also synonymous with the style, create interesting focal points. The Bauhaus style is particularly evident in the third bedroom with its beautiful, wallpapered feature wall that depicts curved, quadrant shapes, in fitting with the style’s most iconic aspects.”

David Galman, Sales Director at Galliard said: “TCRW SOHO will provide world-class apartments in an unrivalled location off Oxford Street in the heart of London’s West End. Honky has created a show apartment which represents somewhere that residents can relax in effortless luxury whilst feeling like home and we hope that potential buyers will be inspired by their excellent design work.”

The Honky show apartment is priced at £2,360,000 and is available to view through appointment.

Prices at TCRW SOHO start from £1,200,000.
