The most significant deal at Broadgate was a regear to Credit Agricole at Broadwalk House, said British Land in the half-year results released today.
Credit Agricole deal covered 116,550 sq ft or the total activity of 155,000 sq ft at Broadgate in the half year (excluding Storey). The lease was extended by five years to 2030.
British Land has recently been working closely with the occupier to deliver energy efficiencies for Credit Agricole. The improvements include localised cooling to more efficiently serve their space without powering the whole building out of hours; a new air source heat pump and LED lighting.
Broadgate occupancy is currently 97.7% up from 96.7% six months ago.
