Resident Update Event on 30th November 2022.

Following the pre-planning community consultation for the 41-59 Battersea Park Road site earlier this year Watkin Jones Group submitted a planning application to Wandsworth Council for the mixed-use redevelopment of Bookers Wholesale and the former BMW showroom – which has since been demolished – on Battersea Park Road. However, during the Council’s statutory consultation this summer residents raised a number of concerns about the submitted plans.

The developer is inviting local residents to a Resident Update event on Wednesday 30th November where they will be setting out how the scheme has changed in direct response to the community’s comments. Members of the project team will be there to talk you through the updated proposals.

The Resident Update event itself runs from 4pm until 8pm on Wednesday 30th November at the R.O.S.E. Community Clubroom at 22 Ascalon Street, London SW8 4AN.

Once the residents’ feedback has been reviewed, adjustments will be submitted to the current planning application. This will then trigger the Council to hold it own separate re-consultation where you will be given another opportunity to have your say on the future of this site.
