Topped out

The Lord Mayor of Westminster, Councillor Hamza Taouzzale, joined Concord London and Kier Group in celebrating the completion of the highest point of construction for Marylebone Square.

The mixed-use development, which is the last whole city block in W1 to be developed, includes 54 luxury new-build homes, and two floors of exclusive boutiques and restaurants. The 25,160 square meter, nine-story development is a fitting addition to the unique London village of Marylebone. The ceremony was marked by filling in the last piece of the top concrete slab.

Chris Murray, Managing Director of Concord London, said: “This topping out ceremony represents a very significant moment for both Marylebone Square and Marylebone as a whole as we are creating a whole new centre to an already bustling area full of amazing restaurants, shops and people.

We have seen an impressive number of sales here at Concord as buyers see Marylebone as both a safe and smart investment in addition to being a wonderful place to live.”

Terry Hui, Chairman, Concord Pacific Group of Companies, said: “This project has been a storybook opportunity and was born from a serendipitous series of events. We know how important this site is to Marylebone and W1 and we intend to pay homage to the site’s history by meticulously delivering high-quality apartments and hosting only the best stores and eateries.”
