Melanie Miotti appointed General Manager of luxury later living community Fitzjohn's

Fitzjohn's, a luxurious later living community in Hampstead by Pegasus, a member of the Lifestory Group, has announced the appointment of Melanie Miotti as its new General Manager.


With 29 apartments exclusively available for those over 60, Fitzjohn's offers residents the perfect combination of luxury living and lifestyle amenities.


Miotti, who was appointed by Rendall and Rittner, brings with her a wealth of experience in residential development management, having previously served as a Residence Manager at Chelsea Barracks for three years. She also has a front-of-house background, having worked at a private members club.


Delighted with her move to Fitzjohn’s, she is keen to put her own personal stamp on the development: “I chose to accept the position at the development because it shared many similarities with Chelsea Barracks in terms of luxury, quality and service level, however, the intimacy of a smaller development such as Fitzjohn’s means that I am able to focus on creating a tailored lifestyle which residents look forward to come home to”.


Starting from the very beginning with Fitzjohn’s means that Melanie can build personal relationships with homeowners and build a sense of community that is unique to the development: “With new residents settling in, nothing makes me happier than to watch the residence become lived in, with grandchildren using the pool, pets basking in the courtyard garden and the club lounge being enjoyed. It is important to us that whilst Fitzjohn’s has all of the luxury of a 5* hotel, it still feels like home which is why we focus on the little details, such as installing a small hose outside to wash dog’s paws after a walk on the Heath, offering dog treats upon return and any assistance with taking shopping bags or luggage to a resident’s apartment”.


Pegasus pride themselves on offering services that are personal, attentive and discreet to ensure complete support and puts wellbeing at the forefront of the living experience which is something Melanie Miotti is passionate about guarantying at Fitzjohn’s: “My role at Fitzjohn’s is all about ensuring that personal touch, with only 29 apartments I will strive to make sure each resident is more than happy with their new home and the service they receive from myself and team, with no request to little or large. Taking on board feedback and really listening to resident’s opinions is of utmost importance and we always aim to implement suggested changes where possible”.


While Melanie’s role and responsibilities are flexible and will adapt to residents’ desires and demands, she will be supported by a Concierge who will be available on-site 24 hours a day 7 days a week as well as a State Operator. “Myself and team will be available to take parcels, book taxis, facilitate the spa and wellness centre use, manage the guest suite, fix any snagging issues and to sort out the needs and desires of homeowners at their request. I am a big believer that the small things are the things that make a difference and are what people remember. Aside from customer service, my role is about making sure the building is safe and compliant, things that homeowners wouldn’t necessarily notice but are vital to the running of the building.”
