Page Group, the FTSE 250 recruitment business, has signed a lease for a new London headquarters at Eighty Strand, reports agent Cushman & Wakefield.

The global leader in specialist recruitment, with a workforce of 9,000 spanning 37 countries, has opted to consolidate its two current London offices at Victoria House on Bloomsbury Square and 61 Aldwych, into a single floor at the newly refurbished 80 Strand building.

The refurbishment of the building at 80 Strand included new ground-floor amenities, end-of-trip facilities, and disabled car parking spaces. The revamped floors boast impressive views of the river, stretching from Westminster to the City, making it an attractive location for Page Group.

Page Group has taken a 12-year lease on 40,000 sq ft of space at the newly refurbished building. The recruitment firm was enticed by the building's robust sustainability credentials and the potential for collaborative working in a single office space.

Other recent lettings in the building include Sharkmob 40,000 sq ft, Vitality 20,000 sq ft, Darktrace 30,000 sq ft and IK Partners 14,000 sq ft. In addition, c. 95,000 sq ft is under offer to multiple occupiers.

Cushman & Wakefield advised Strandbrook Ltd, Vail Williams advised Page Group.

Sophie Willson, a representative for the Landlord Strandbrook Ltd, commented: “We are delighted that Page Group, in consolidating their London offices, has chosen 80 Strand. Alongside completing the high quality CAT A refurbishment of the four office floors vacated by Shell, we worked hard with heritage architect Duncan Mitchell and PDP London to design and complete significant works to the property to improve the entrance experience and to maximise the occupier amenity within the building. These works have transformed this iconic landmark property and have been received very positively by new occupiers such as Michael Page. We now have 105,000 sq ft spoken for with 55,000 sq ft remaining.”

Nick Kirk, CEO at PageGroup said: "We are hugely excited to make 80S our new London home and breathe new life into such an iconic building. The move will provide us with a modern, agile environment to enable hybrid working and more effective collaboration between our teams and customers. Co-locating all our London based staff under 1 roof for the first time will also unlock further opportunities to drive innovation, whilst also creating a more sustainable and accessible working environment."
