According to the latest update provided by the Westminster Council, substantial progress has been made at the 20 Luxborough Street development.

A significant step in the project was the successful completion of the piling operation in just over two weeks, which paves the way for subsequent phases of construction.

When completed in 2024, this development will provide 14 apartments offered at an intermediate rent, contributing to the city's goal of providing affordable and high-quality housing.

With the piling operation concluded, work has moved forward swiftly. The base for the crane, an essential component of this construction, has now been carefully excavated and filled with concrete. In addition, preparations are underway for the installation of an attenuation tank – a crucial feature for rainwater storage and flood prevention.

Looking ahead, the focus now shifts to the erection of the structural steelworks, a significant and visible step towards realising the shape and size of the Luxborough Street development.

Safety remains a top priority, with stringent protocols in place to protect both the on-site construction workers and nearby residents.
