Dentons, one of the largest legal firms worldwide, has revealed its plans to relocate to a new London office at One Liverpool Street in 2026. This decision comes as the lease at its current location, 1 Fleet Place, approaches expiration.

Upon completion in January 2026, the development by Aviva Investors will offer 176,000 sq ft of office and retail space, spread across the ground and the upper ten floors. Dentons is set to occupy approximately 67,500 sq ft of the building for an initial term of 15 years, with the anticipated move-in date being mid-2026.

Dentons was advised by Gardiner & Theobald, Knight Frank, and Slaughter and May.

Paul Jarvis, Chief Executive Officer of Dentons UK, Ireland and Middle East, commented: "In One Liverpool Street we have selected an office that offers excellent transport links, access to fantastic local amenities and exemplary sustainability credentials. As one of the first occupants we will be able to shape the space, as we did with our recent moves into flagship offices in Dublin and Edinburgh, to balance the needs of our people and clients and drive the increased connectivity that our new strategy requires."

Darran Stevenson, Chief Operating Officer of Dentons UK, Ireland and Middle East, added: "Moving into a modern, fresher and greener office in the heart of the City is very much part of our vision for hybrid working and running our business. We want to offer our people and clients an office environment they look forward to coming into - a place that will enable our people to get the most from their careers, and for our clients a first-class experience when working with us at our new London home".

Rob Thompson, Head of the Real Estate Division at Dentons UK, Ireland and Middle East, commented: "This is the culmination of many months of hard work by the Dentons and Aviva teams and their advisors. Moving into one of the City's most prestigious new developments represents an exciting new chapter in the firm's growth."

Ed Atterwill, Head of Central London at Aviva Investors, added: “We are delighted to complete this letting with Dentons. Securing the world's largest global law firm as a tenant is an important milestone for this development, demonstrating continued demand from businesses for best-in-class buildings in the most connected areas of London and particularly those with market leading sustainability credentials. One Liverpool Street has stringent carbon reduction targets, aiming to lower ongoing energy needs through use of efficient materials and specific performance goals.”
