Westminster Council has recently approved plans for the use of lower ground, part ground, and first floor for modern art museum use (Class F1).

The site includes 1-1A Great Cumberland Place.

Moco Museum will be expanding its current presence in Amsterdam and Barcelona by opening a London museum and art gallery at this site. The 2,210m2 space will host a wide range of inspiring modern, contemporary, and street art.

City of Westminster Planning Sub-Committee decided unanimously in support of the application and that conditional permission be granted in a meeting on 3rd October 2023.
