Public consultation

Dominus has recently launched a public consultation for 65 Fleet Street, seeking community input on their plans.

The proposal aims to breathe new life into the derelict building, introducing a vibrant mixed-use scheme that surpasses current consent.

The plans designed by BGY propose high-quality student accommodation to support the growth of higher education in the Square Mile and London. The new building is envisioned as a hub for cultural and public activities. It also seeks to restore The Tipperary, London's "Oldest Irish Pub" from 1605 and to enhance the visibility of the Grade II-listed Whitefriars Crypt.

The current timeline is as follows:

Mid-February 2024 - Licensing application approved for the Tipperary

Late-February 2024 - Public consultation

March 2024 - Review of feedback and scheme finalisation

Mid-March 2024 - Re-opening the Tipperary

Spring 2024 - Submission of planning application

As part of their commitment to early community engagement, Dominus is eager to hear feedback to actively shape the development of these plans.
