Orion and Quadrant Estates have topped out Carmelite Riverside in London’s Midtown, with a ceremony held on site in alongside their contractor Morgan Sindall and Fletcher Priest Architects.
Carmelite Riverside is a 135,000 sq ft office building located at 50 Victoria Embankment, London EC4. The building will be completed on schedule in May 2014 following an extensive redevelopment of the original building. In December 2013, Orion and Quadrant Estates announced the letting of the whole building to publishing firm, Hachette UK.
Graham Tyler, Director Quadrant Estates, said: “We are extremely proud of the quality of the building designed by Fletcher Priest Architects. This has been proven by the early letting to Hachette UK who will take possession of the building in May. We look forward to welcoming them to Carmelite Riverside.”
The project team includes quantity surveyors Gardiner & Theobald, engineers WSP, and MEP engineers ChapmanBDSP. Project management on the site is by Second London Wall.
