Derwent London has launched Queens Apartments in Bayswater, London W2!
A landmark building at the heart of one of the most vibrant quarters of west London, Queens offers luxury living within crafted modern spaces full of character and delight. Queens is a fresh and contemporary building tucked behind part of the original façade of a 1930s Art Deco cinema. The cinema frontage has been carefully preserved and restored. It also provided inspiration to both the exterior and interior design by renowned architects Stiff + Trevillion. The cinema was designed by architects J. Stanley & Clare and completed in 1932. The colourful mosaic tiles, period signage and stained glass windows of the Bishop’s Bridge Road façade have been carefully restored and updated, blending with the streamlined form of the rest of the modern building, which features a dedicated entrance on the recently landscaped Queensway.
