Leading property consultancy, Bilfinger GVA, has let 2 Eastbourne Terrace in London to WeWork.

As Rio Tinto returned to their former headquarters in 6 St James’s Square, WeWork has taken the entire building of 108,576 sq ft at 2 Eastbourne Terrace in Paddington, adding to the company’s rapidly expanding portfolio of office space in London.

Patrick O’Keeffe, Senior Director at Bilfinger GVA, comments: “We are delighted to have been involved in this significant letting and secured a tenant to take the whole space at 2 Eastbourne Terrace. WeWork will give a major boost to the Paddington market, which is still currently one of the best value West End submarkets. The arrival of Crossrail in 2018 and developments by British Land and Derwent London will also hugely improve the profile of Paddington as a Central London business hub.”

Bilfinger GVA advised Rio Tinto. Kontor and Cushman and Wakefield acted for WeWork.

Bilfinger GVA has been involved in the two largest letting deals so far this year, with their City Offices Agency team advising Rathbones on their move into the 75,000 sq ft at 8 Finsbury Circus.
