Gallions housing association became a part of the Peabody Group.
Peabody now owns and manages around 27,000 homes across London.
Later this year, Trust Thamesmead will also join the Peabody Group, bringing together housing and community into a single, well-resourced organisation in the area for the first time in a generation.
The new Chair of Gallions, David Avery said:
"This is a new start for Gallions. There is no doubt this has been a challenging time for the organisation. The immediate focus of the new board will be to look at all of the issues facing homeowners and tenants, and to ensure that residents are happy with the quality of services we provide. We are actively following up on the recommendations of the independent review commissioned by the previous board."
