Sanctuary, a prominent UK housing and care provider, has acquired Swan Housing Association as its subsidiary, following the formal completion of the approved business combination proposal by both organisations' boards. This move ensures Swan's services to residents and communities are secured under Sanctuary's strong financial position.

Although Swan will maintain its standalone operations, integration plans will be discussed in the future. Dave Soothill, formerly Sanctuary's Development Director in England, will now serve as Managing Director of Swan.

With Swan as its subsidiary, Sanctuary now manages a total of 116,000 homes throughout England and Scotland.
