Derwent London acquired the freehold of the 2.5-acre site 400,000 sq ft estate from The Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and UCL.

Moorfields Eye Hospital, UCL IoO and Moorfields Eye Charity are working in partnership on Oriel, a joint initiative which will move services to a new, integrated centre on part of the St Pancras Hospital site in Camden.

Derwent London plans in March 2024 - Old Street Quarter EC1 mixed-use campus target size 750,000+ sq ft. Start date: 2028+
