Design of the buildings in the second phase of Wood Wharf is being progressed to the tender information stage and construction of the basements and enabling works have been completed ahead of building construction commencement, reports Canary Wharf Group in its financial results for the first half of the 2022 financial year, which ended June 30.
This phase comprises 6 buildings with a total area of approximately 606,000 sq ft of which 409,000 sq ft is offices, 80,000 sq ft is serviced apartments and 118,000 sq ft is retail/leisure use.
The 4 waterside buildings in Wood Wharf Phase 3 are expected to provide approximately 1.2m sq ft and is anticipated to deliver 1,316 private units and 307 affordable housing units, together with amenities, public realm and supporting retail space. In the first half of 2022, groundworks completed and construction of the frame has now commenced.
