Overview
Wood Wharf is a new 5m sq ft commercial development on 23 acres in London E14.
Wood Wharf will provide up to 3,600 new homes, 2.8m sq ft of office space, 490,000 sq ft of retail space and over 8 acres of public spaces, squares and parks.
There will also be a GP surgery and a two-form primary school for 420 children. Across the Estate, there are over 200 free events for the public to attend.
B3 - In Spring 2019 Tower Hamlets Council approves plans for plot B3 for a building providing hotel, health club, offices and retail use.
2m sq. ft of the office space will be for innovative, fast growth-businesses, set to attract 20,000 jobs, making Wood Wharf the largest cluster of tech and creative businesses in London.
The new cluster is expected to attract £2bn GVA from new jobs and generate £199m for the local small business economy.

By October 2018 Wood Wharf has already secured forward-thinking businesses such as Ennismore, owner of The Hoxton Hotels group and The Office Group – taking over 180,000 sq. ft in total.
Wood Wharf has been designed to meet Canary Wharf Group’s high sustainability standards. The development will be targeting zero-carbon and zero-waste and is being built to have a positive social impact on the local area and communities – 25 per cent of the 3,600 residential homes will be affordable housing.
