Construction start

Construction has now commenced on the first affordable homes at Brent Cross Town.

The first building will offer 120 new affordable homes for people living and working in Barnet Council and is set to welcome residents in late 2024.

The affordable homes will be managed by L&Q and comprise from one to four bedrooms, for existing tenants of Clare Point, Norden Point and Whychcote Point in the Whitefield Estate, and a small number of homes available via shared ownership schemes.

Designed by award-winning architects Maccreanor Lavington and Whittam Cox, the new building will span two connected blocks of nine and 14 storeys respectively. The main contractor is Midgard.

The information on affordable homes is not yet available at lqhomes.com but we will let you know as soon as these appear on L&Q website.

The first private homes at The Ashbee building, which will create 107 new homes, are also set to complete by the end of 2024.
