Newham council has approved plans for the sixth phase at Royal Docks. The plans include a redevelopment of the site to provide for no.238 residential units (use class C3) contained within two distinct urban blocks. The proposals comprise a perimeter block with heights ranging from three up to twelve storeys as well as a separate building of part seven/part nine storeys, together with provision of vehicular access onto Magellan Boulevard, under-croft vehicle and cycle parking, hard and soft landscaping (including the provision of temporary landscaped open space), and all associated ancillary works and structures.
