The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Planning Committee approved the redevelopment plans for Newcombe House at their latest committee meeting on 18/01/2024.


Henry Squire, Partner at Squire & Partners commented: “We are delighted to bring forward a vision that creates a new, extremely high-quality, distinctive campus of buildings and public realm that will complete the regeneration of Notting Hill Gate and be a very positive addition for years to come.”


Duncan Roe, Partner at Beltane Asset Management added:

“Notting Hill Gate has amazing potential to create best-in-class office and retail accommodation right in the heart of a vibrant and well-connected district centre. Our ambition is to further strengthen and enhance Notting Hill Gate with a new commercial hub which will bring a range of local economic and social benefits.”

The plans proposed a partial retention, refurbishment and extension of the Newcombe House tower for continued office use (Class E(g)(i)), the full demolition of the rest of the site comprising existing retail (Class E)...
