Newcombe House
Key Details
Overview
Newcombe House is a mixed-use development on the site of the former office building that will create office, residential, and retail uses, and a flexible surgery/office use, across six buildings in Notting Hill Gate, London W11.
The revisions to the Newcombe House redevelopment plans by Squire & Partners retain the existing tower and propose an additional three storeys, making it 15 storeys in total.
Developers Beltane together with Angelo Gordon will make the public square on Notting Hill Gate 71% more open, allowing for more green space and better connections to Uxbridge Street.
The proposed building heights along Kensington Church Street remain primarily six-storeys, with an eight-storey building planned for the corner of Kensington Place. The design of the six-storey element has been modified based on feedback.
The 12-storey Newcombe House tower is set to undergo a significant refurbishment while maintaining its existing structure and adding three more storeys, totalling it to 15, which is still three storeys shorter than the initially permitted scheme.
