Located on the southwestern side of Lots Road between Chelsea Harbour and the King's Road, the site occupies the southwest corner of the borough. Presently, it is occupied by two warehouse buildings and a vehicle pound, and falls within the Lots Road Employment Zone. Furthermore, the site sits immediately adjacent to the Lots Village Conservation Area. The site's ownership belongs to the Council and extends beyond the borough boundary into the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. While the larger part and existing buildings fall within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
