18-20 Savile Row
Key Details
Overview
18-20 Savile Row is a proposed commercial development by Pollen Estate in Mayfair, London W1.
Nos. 18-19 Savile Row and No. 20 Savile Row are proposed to be demolished to make way for a new building over the basement, ground, and seven upper floors.
Designed by Fathom Architects, the development will offer office space on the upper floors, accessible via a ground floor entrance on New Burlington Street, and adaptable retail or restaurant space at ground level. Two smaller ground-floor units will be designated for bespoke tailors along the Savile Row frontage.
Savile Row is a prime destination for handcrafted tailoring and menswear.
History
18-19 Savile Row was built in 1956 and designed by Bernard Gould. No. 20 was constructed in 1951-54 and designed by Stone, Toms & Partners.
