Brookfield Multiplex has been awarded the design and build contract for Principal Place, the 16-storey mixed-use Grade A Building designed by Fosters + Partners.

The commercial development is one component of the mixed-use scheme, which also features a 50-storey, 250,000 sq ft residential tower and a half-acre public piazza. Upon completion, the commercial building will provide 600,000 sq ft of office space, over 30,000 sq ft of roof terraces on level 10 and 16, 20,000 sq ft of retail space at ground level, as well as a cycle hub with storage for 600 cycles, shower and changing facilities, 22 parking spaces and 102 motorcycle bays.

The development is targeting BREEAM 2011 Offices ‘Excellent’ rating and is due for completion in 2016.
