Description of Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals
Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals building on Huntley Street in London W1.
The building, completed in 2019, brings the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital and the Eastman Dental Hospital together to form one of the largest specialist centres for the treatment of conditions relating to the head and neck, including dental, ear, nose and throat (ENT), and hearing speech and balance.
Located next to University College Hospital and the Macmillan Cancer Centre.
Services are based in two floors below ground, and five above ground. Two floors are dedicated to dental treatment, an entire floor is provided for children and young people, and patients with ENT, sleep, speech, hearing and balance issues will be seen in modern surroundings with integrated pathways and services.
The façade includes the Duveen Memorial stone from the Royal Ear Hospital (which was demolished to enable the construction of the new building).
The main entrance for visitors is on huntley Street.
