Overview

Syon Gardens is a mixed-use development on the Homebase Brentford site in Greater London TW7.

The scheme will deliver a large Tesco supermarket and associated car parking as well as 473 homes (35% affordable).

The new homes will sit above a podium containing the supermarket and car park. The new buildings range in height from 4 to 17-storeys.

A total of 164 affordable homes will be affordable housing, with 100% being ‘London Affordable Rent’.

The development includes small community and retail spaces, as well as residential
parking, landscaping and areas of the new public realm.

Tesco Supermarket is relocating here from the Osterley Place site.

2020 September - Full planning application submitted for the demolition of existing Homebase building and car park and erection of buildings to provide residential units, a
replacement retail food store with additional commercial, business and service space, and flexible community space, and ancillary plant, access, servicing and car parking, landscaping and associated works. Hounslow Council ref. no. 00505/H/P19 and P/2020/3099.
