Overview
Marble Arch Place is a new mixed-use development in Marble Arch, London W1.
The scheme comprises two buildings - an office building and The Bryanston apartment building.
The two new buildings designed by Rafael Viñoly Architects are 17 storeys and 7 storeys. The taller, western building includes 54 residential apartments and shops and art gallery at ground and basement levels, while the eastern building will be dedicated to commercial office space and shops on lower ground, ground and first floors.
History
The old 23-storey tower building contained 100 000 ft² of varied office space, 30 000 ft² of retail space and underground car parking.
2019 October - The 75-metre tower tops out.
4. June 2014 - Planning permission granted for the development of:
- a new, improved multi-screen Odeon cinema
- 123,000 sq. ft. of modern flexible office space totalling
- 36,000 sq. ft of new world-class shop units
- 54 private apartments
November 2013 Developer Almacantar reveals plans for the site on the corner of Edgware Road and Oxford Street. Plans revealed one office building and one 17-storey residential building containing 52 apartments designed by Rafael Viñoly. Work on the site started in 2015.
2011 Almacantar acquires Marble Arch Tower
